Solar energy is a great source of power and now becoming
popular around the world. In India now from Government’s agencies to a common
people both are using it. It is environment friendly and less costly than
traditional electricity power. Recently
National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has used solar panel near road to
provide light during night. Here important thing is that before installing
solar panel one must make it clear about their requirement and consumption of power.
Depending on your household and your homemade solar panel,
you can use round 30-40 panels.
There are different solar panels whose efficiency and the
rate at which they transform solar into energy determine how many panels will
be needed. Solar panels that use thin film or polycrystalline cells are said to
generate energy way faster than those panels made of monocrystalline solar
cells. The prices for the three types of the panel also differ where the
polycrystalline solar cells are stable unlike thin film solar cells and less
expensive than the monocrystalline cells.
Budget is an important factor when it comes to manufacturing
or buying the solar panels. DIY panels are way cheaper although the quality
difference is very noticeable plus the amount of work you will put in for it to
function properly. Buying solar panels on the hand requires you to have an
idea of all the needed requirements for your household.
Different technologies are providing varied types of panel
and therefore essential to make sure you choose the right panels and not
blinded by prices but looking at their effectiveness.
